Network toplogy

Host 1

  • eth0 192.168.1.10/24
  • vmbr2

Host 2

  • eth0 192.168.2.20/24

VXLAN tunnelling

On Host1 do:

ovs-vsctl add-port vmbr2 vxlanport1 -- set interface vxlanport1 type=vxlan option:remote_ip=192.168.2.20 options:key=flow ofport_request=10

vxlanport1 can be replace by whatever you want. ofport_request=XX is usefulle in order to set an id for openvflow.

Check:

ovs-vsctl show
ovs-ofctl show vmbr2

On Host2 do:

ovs-vsctl add-port vmbr2 vxlanport1 -- set interface vxlanport1 type=vxlan option:remote_ip=192.168.1.10 options:key=flow ofport_request=10

Check:

ovs-vsctl show
ovs-ofctl show vmbr2
